The Launch of Q99

Q99 Grande Prairie officialy launched at noon April 9th 2007. Q99 and Bear Creek Broadcasting is the vision of Ken Truhn and the only locally owned and operated radio station in Grande Prairie.

With a full staff of on-air personalities, Q99 will have a live announcer in the studio 7 days a week and will provide listeners with detailed local news and sports reports with a focus on our communities.

With a target listener of adults 25 to 54 years old, Q99 will be providing Grande Prairie and surrounding areas with all of the hit music you grew up on and are listening to today. You will hear artists such as, U2, Nelly Furtado, Rod Stewart, Avril Lavigne and more! Hear the Launch
