Q99 is the only locally owned and operated radio station in Grande Prairie and was officially launched on April 9th, 2007.

Q99 is owned by local businessmen, Brian Nash and Ken Truhn who both have a long history of being heavily invested in the community. Mr. Truhn runs the operation and has 30 years of experience in the radio business having worked right out of high school. Mr. Nash owns and operates a local Travel Agency and Tour operation and has been in the Grande Prairie area since dirt was formed.

With a full staff of on-air personalities, Q99 has a live announcer in the studio seven days a week and will provide listeners with detailed local news and sports reports with a focus on our communities.

With a target audience of adults 25 to 54 years old, Q99 provides Grande Prairie and surrounding areas with all of the hit music you grew up on and are listening to today.
