Hello, my name is Kristin Pealo – Kelsey. I grew up in or around Grande Prairie. I have a wonderful husband, Gord, and two amazing children, Marley and Barret, who are 6 and almost 2. They are so supportive along with my whole family. The Biggest Loser competition has been a wonderful experience that has given me a great foundation to build on. I do plan to follow through with my weight loss adventure till the very end, where I can proudly say “I did it!”

Shirley lost 8%of her total body weigh. For a loss of 26.5lbs!
Hi, I'm Shirley Boland, I'm 44 years old and have an amazing common-law husband Alec. I have two grown daughters and two grandkids. My family has been very supportive, and my daughters were the ones who got me to sign up. I'm so proud and grateful they did. I work full time as a driver for Grande Prairie Transit and part time as a Driver and guard for Brinks Canada. I want to lose weight to feel better, look better and most of all to have energy. I would like to be able to hike, bike, and walk with my grandchildren to discover nature together. My weight loss goal for the competition, I think if I lose 5lbs a week for seven weeks it would work out to 35lbs. Overall i would like to lose at least 100lbs. Being picked to participate in The Grande Prairie's Biggest Loser has made me believe that it's possible to lose weight and keep it off. so far working out with Jessica at V02 Max has been a great and real eye opener and it has given me the real feeling that dreams are possible. I think it will help that were working as a group with the same goals. I think it will help support each other.

I'm Nichole, I am 28 years old and engaged to be married in Oct 2012. I work with children with disabilities and with women and children of abuse. I am wanting to lose weight to become more healthy and to feel better about myself. Build confidence and change my life style to healthy living. My weight loss goals over the next 7 weeks are to learn strategies on how to lose weight and keep it off and make some weight loss buddies! Being apart of Grande Prairie's Biggest Loser will hopefully impact my life positively by building new relationships and break my fear of group workouts. I hope it will give me the skills and motivation to carry on after the challenge is done.
Shannon Walters
Shannon lost 12%of her total body weigh. For a loss of 38.38lbs!
I’m Shannon a 30 year old homemaker who has come to some realizations about my health lately. This has motivated me to change my life. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Ken, for 10 years and we have a beautiful 9 year old daughter. The main reason I want to change the way I take care of myself and lose weight has everything to do with my family. I want to be around for years and years to come and I want to be able to participate in my life without restrictions because of my weight. In the next 7 weeks I want to strive for healthy weight loss - about 20-30 pounds. My overall goal is to lose 160 pounds. I have a long journey ahead and I really am thankful for the opportunity to be in "The Biggest Loser" contest. I am excited to meet other people who really understand what it is like. With the extra support of my peers and the motivation of the competition I really think this is the jump start I have been needing. Actually... filling out the application for the biggest loser really helped me realize what I had done to myself. I am ready for a change!!!
Michelle Goodliffe

Michelle lost 5.4%of her total body weigh. For a loss of 13.2lbs!
I’m Michelle, a 42 year old wife, mom and a Christian woman. I’ve been married for 8 years now to a wonderful man who I’ve been very lucky to be going through this weight loss journey with. Neil and I have four children, two still living with us. I work for Grande Prairie Voice for Life and teach classes such as Abstinence, STIs, and Fetology. I applied to Q99s Biggest Loser because I wanted to change my life. 10 years ago, I had a major surgery then went into a major depression. As you can imagine, my eating habits became awful and I let my weight go. Now I’m happy with my life and want my health to also reflect that I want to be active in my children’s and in the future grandchildren’s life. I don’t want to be a “couch potato”, “lazy”, or even feel “fat” anymore. I hope to show myself, my family and Grande Prairie that I am capable of changing my bad eating habits and can exercise and keep healthy.
Neil Goodliffe

Neil lost 11.6%of his total body weigh. For a loss of 29.3lbs!
I’m Neil Goodliffe, 40 years old (41 on Feb 9th!) I’ve been married for 8 years with 4 wonderful kids.
I am a Computer Technician for the Catholic School District. I am tired of being overweight and not having the energy to all the fun things in life. I used to bike ride lots years ago – not so much today. Looking to change that this summer! My weight goals are to lose 20lbs over the course of this adventure. Overall, I would like to be in the 190-200lb range. Being a part of Biggest Loser has given my wife and I a chance to start changing the bad habits and laziness that permeate our daily lives. All the junk food and caffeinated beverages we drink have really packed on the pounds over the years. We are more aware of what we are putting into our bodies and the effort it will take to make the changes. Thanks for the great opportunity! Just a few other things to throw in….. I’m a huge Star Wars fan, geeky to the core! Lived in Grande Prairie since 1989 and I’m a computer nut.
Karyn Cochrane

Karyn lost 12.6%of her total body weigh. For a loss of 26.3lbs!
I'm Karyn Cochrane,I am 42 years old, married 10 years this June. I’ve worked in Sales and Marketing for the last 5 years (previously locked behind a desk). I am a real yo-yo dieter (BOOO to me). It’s so cliché to say…but I’ve done all the “fad diets” and never really learned how to lose weight with Canada’s Food Guide and an ongoing exercise program. I am very hopeful that at the very least….I will learn how to eat properly….avoiding the eating binges that I often go on. My goal for the next 7 weeks is to lose a minimum of 20 pounds ( I think I can do more, but this is minimum ). Being part of the Biggest Loser is going to make me accountable (something I need). Mostly, I’m just tired of the following: I hate how I feel and look. clothes don’t fit….(now buying fat clothes). Muffin top is sick. I’m starting to get short of breath on very short walks! Heartburn has hit me with a vengeance as a result of my being overweight. And really, I’m just embarrassed that I let my weight get away on me without doing something sooner. If being part of the Biggest Loser can teach me “how to eat” then my being a public spectacle will have been worth it
Lee Swaile

Lee lost 11.1% of his total body weigh. For a loss of 32.2lbs!
Hi I’m Lee. I’m 25 years old and Almost hitched (halfway there. I work for
Wesclean - cleaning equipment and supplies, I am a territory manager.
I want to lose weight to provide a better example for my son and I want
to make sure I am around to watch him grow up and have his own family.
My goal for the 7 weeks is to lose 25-30 pounds and my overall goal is to
get under 200lbs. Being apart of GP's Biggest Loser will impact my life
because it is giving me an opportunity to work with amazing trainers and
train in a facility that I would have never even dreamed of going into.
GP'sBL is giving me the chance to train with people who suffer from the
same weight issues I have suffered from my entire life and provides the
understanding that I am not alone in my battle with weight loss.
Toni Glowaski

Toni lost 9.6% of her total body weigh. For a loss of 21.4lbs!
My name is Toni Glowaski and I am 42 years old. I have been married to Shayne for 16 years. Together we have two daughters, Nicole (20 years old) and Natasha (16 years old) and our dog, Tia (miniature dachshund). I work at JB Insurance Services Ltd. and have been there since September 07 1993. The first bunch of years as the receptionist, I then switched over into being a processor and then also assumed the role of an assistant to the senior agent. I want to lose weight so I can feel comfortable doing things in public with my family. So I can feel comfortable having my picture taken, not just on vacations with my family, but whenever someone wants to snap a picture. I am hoping to lose around 25 pounds on this 7 week adventure that I have been given the great opportunity to partake in. My big picture goal is for a total weight loss of 80 pounds. The Biggest Loser Challenge, I believe, is going to make my life overall so much more fulfilling. To be able to go into a store I want to go into and try on what I want to try on will be a major milestone and a great joy! To be able to look in a mirror and be happy with what I see would be incredible! Our children are getting older and one day it will be just my husband and I and to be in shape to do the things my husband would like us to be able to do (golf, skiing, etc.) as a couple is a big reason for me doing this. To not worry about golfing with strangers and worrying about what I look like when they are watching me is something I greatly look forward to. To go to the beach without wearing a cover-up the entire time – including while in the water – is GOING TO BE (not a maybe) so freeing!!

Hello! I am Lylie Park. I have the most amazing life. I have an incredibly beautiful 20 year old daughter who shines from the inside out and supports me and loves me no matter what size I am. An equally amazing man in my life, for the past 15 years, that supports & loves me just like she does. I am the Manager/Operator/Buyer at Victoria’s Attic and everyday get to go to work and be around 3 of the best women who encourage and inspire me every day. I have the greatest team. The best family that anyone could dream about!! What more could I want? Well, I want to be healthy and active when I become a grandmother. I want to watch my daughter become that mother and wife…if that is what she chooses. I want to grow old with that amazing man, Kevin, whom I was telling you about. I want to be around to watch all my nieces and nephews graduate, get married, and have babies! I want to participate in a new lifestyle. I want to have all the tools to be able to maintain that lifestyle. My overall goal is to lose 100 lbs. In this 7 week competition I hope to lose enough of that when it is over, I am more fit and able to continue this journey on my own. WITH my new best friend Jessica!! Jess is our personal trainer at V02 Max and I am sure we all feel about her like that. She is UNBELIEVABLE!! Honestly, everyone at this gym is so kind and sincere and encouraging. Only gym I have never felt intimidated in. I want to thank Q99 for the best thing to happen to me since Santana and Kevin. You are changing lives.
