Two Area Convenience Stores Robbed!

The area has been hit again with not one, but two robberies. Constable Tracie Sanikopoulos says the first incident happened Thursday morning around 3:30 am at a convenience store located at 9301 76th Ave in Grande Prairie.  The second robbery took place around 4:30 am in Beaverlodge at 826 1st Ave. 

RCMP say a lone male entered the businesses and showed a knife. He demanded cash and an undisclosed amount was handed over. The suspect fled the scene in an older model brown vehicle, described as a truck. The suspect vehicle was last seen heading northbound on highway 43.

The suspect is described as: a white male approximately 5’10”-6’ tall, wearing grey or green  pants with a hoodie, light brown gloves and an orange mask with black sunglasses worn over the eyes.  He also had on running shoes and  mismatched socks.
